This weekend, thousands are heading to Reading or Leeds to see heavy hitters like Charli xcx, Fontaines D.C., Dave and more perform live. Jealous? We can’t blame you. But think of it this way – at least you can be inside, warm and safe from forecasts of thunderstorms and torrential rain.
While they’re all out in their wellies and waterproof ponchos, you can curl up on your sofa and enjoy the best sets of Reading and Leeds from the comfort of your own home. As ever, the BBC will be on the ground and bringing the event to your living room.

The biggest sets from Reading Festival 2026 will be broadcast on BBC One while you’ll be able to watch even more on BBC iPlayer.

Here’s when BBC One will broadcast Reading Festival and which acts you’ll be able to see.
- Friday August 28, 10.40pm: Fontaines D.C.
- Saturday August 29, 11.35pm: RAYE

How to live stream this year’s festival
If you want to see as much of the festival as possible, livestream it. Live coverage will be on BBC iPlayer from 6pm on Friday and from 6pm until 11.30pm on Saturday and Sunday.

Every headline act – that’s Charli xcx, Fontaines DC, Dave, RAYE, Florence + the Machine and Chase & Status – will be available to watch live on BBC iPlayer. Other performances haven’t yet been confirmed.

Reading and Leeds on the radio
BBC Radio 1 will be all over Reading Festival, broadcasting live from the site from 10am-4pm on Friday and 11am-4pm on Saturday and Sunday. There’ll also be a special show on Monday night from 6pm-1am reflecting on the event’s best bits.
