Reading and Leeds Festival 2026: ultimate guide to full line-up, stage times and last-minute tickets

To round off a summer of music festivals, this weekend will bring us Britain’s largest fest of 2026: Reading and Leeds. The pair of festivals boast a huge lineup this year with the likes of Charli xcx, Fontaines DC and Chase & Status set to headline. Their stages have also had radical overhauls, so both fests will be unlike any other editions you’ve attended before. 

Despite Glastonbury taking a year off, it’s been a bumper summer for UK festivals. Lorde brought the roof down at All Points East, Pitbull fans set a Guinness World Record at BST Hyde Park, The Cure closed out the Isle of Wight Festival and Guns N’ Roses played a triumphant set at Download.

When is Reading & Leeds Festival 2026?

The sister fests are taking place from Thursday August 27 until Sunday August 30. 

Where is Reading & Leeds Festival 2026?

Reading Fest is at Little John’s Farm on Richfield Avenue while Leeds is held at Bramham Park. 

Who are the headliners for Reading & Leeds Festival 2026?

This year, the festival has a mega set of six headliners. They are Charli xcx (her only UK festival performance of the year), Chase & Status, Dave, Florence and the Machine, Fontaines DC and Raye. 

Sub-headliners include Skepta, Sombr, Role Model, Jade, Josh Baker, Kneecap, Kettama, Chris Stussy (though at Reading only), Geese, Skye Newman, Adéla and Keo. 

Last minute tickets for Reading & Leeds Festival 2026

All camping tickets for Reading and Leeds are now sold out but you can still get single day tickets for Friday, Saturday or Sunday. Friday and Saturday start from £205 and a Sunday ticket is £125.

How to get to Reading & Leeds Festival 2026

Reading 

Car 

Attendees are strongly advised against taking their cars to the festival. But if you are driving, you’ll have to  buy a car park pass in advance. You can find all the info for parking here. There’s also a designated pick up and drop off site at Hills Meadow Car Park. 

Train 

Reading train station is only a 15 to 20 minute walk to the site. But bear in mind that services won’t run late on Friday or Saturday night. 

Coach 

Big Green Coach is running services from dozens of towns and cities across the UK to the festival. You can find your nearest stop here. 

Leeds 

Car 

Unlike Reading, parking is included in all Leeds Festival tickets. The route to the festival site will be signposted along the A1, A64 and Junction 42 Northbound on the M1. Read the full details for driving to Leeds here.

Train 

Leeds train station is a half hour or so drive from the festival site. A shuttle bus will be around to take attendees from the station directly to Bramham Park. 

Coach

Big Green Coach is also running services to the festival. You can find your nearest stop here. 

Banned items at Reading & Leeds Festival 2026

Here’s everything you won’t be allowed to take into either of the festival sites. 

• Animals (except assistance dogs)
• Aerosols (excluding suncream and deodorant. Liquid suncream and roll-on deodorant are permitted)
• Bladed items, including multi tools
• Candles or sky lanterns
• Anything that could be reasonably considered for use as a weapon
• Campfires
• Drones or remote controlled flying devices
• Fireworks, flares, smoke bombs or smoke machines
• Food into the main arena (sealed food can be brought into the campsite). If you have a medical condition which requires you to carry food on you for personal consumption, please bring a medical letter or doctor’s note including details of your requirements as you will be asked to present this.
• Gas canisters or cylinders (except built into campervans)
• Generators (except those built into campervans)
• Glass bottles (excluding perfume bottles 50ml and under into the campsites)
• High-vis jackets or unofficial tabards
• Illegal substances (psychoactive substances, nitrous oxide or legal highs)
• Laser equipment / pointer pens
• Spray paint
• Professional camera or video recording equipment (including SLRs and anything with a detachable lens)
• Spirits (alcohol)
• Sound systems exceeding the following size specifications (H: 184mm x D: 73mm e.g. BOOM3, please note, if on a Day Ticket no sound systems are permitted)
• Single-use plastic
• Portable or disposable barbecues, gas, paraffin lamps, or fire / gas-related cooking equipment
• Megaphones, air horns, or compressed air

You are allowed to bring your own drinks, but make sure they’re not in glass bottles as these will be confiscated.

• Thursday August 27: Thunderstorms expected throughout the day with a yellow warning in place. Highs of 24C.

• Friday August 28: Light drizzle and a moderate breeze. Highs of 22C.

• Saturday August 29: Light rain throughout most of the day. Highs of 22C.

• Sunday August 30: Drizzle early on, with another severe thunderstorm forecast for the evening. Highs of 21C.

Leeds

• Thursday August 27: Thunder and lightning forecast from midday onwards. Highs of 21C.

• Friday August 28: Light rain all day. Highs of 20C.

• Saturday August 29: Overcast with continuous light rain showers. Highs of 20C.

• Sunday August 30: Rain throughout the day, turning into heavy downpours between 5pm and 9pm. Highs of 19C.
