Ticket sales for Fender’s People Watching tour in December go live this week

Last Friday (October 18), after much teasing, Sam Fender announced a huge UK arena tour. The rocker is one of the country’s most hyped musicians right now – yet he hasn’t properly toured the UK since 2022. Better yet, Fender fans don’t have to wait to long for the tour, as it’s taking place in December of this year. Since announcing the tour, he’s added several more dates in London, Glasgow and Manchester.
Tickets for Fender’s highly anticipated People Watching tour have gone live this week. One presale went live on Tuesday October 22, while another went live on Wednesday October 23 for individual venues. In other words, it’s time to get excited. Fender will play arenas in Leeds, Manchester, Birmingham, London, Glasgow and, of course, his native Newcastle.
From ticket prices to presale times, here’s everything you need to know about nabbing a place at one of Sam Fender’s shows later this year.
Across the tour, this is how much tickets will cost:
General sale is tomorrow (Friday October 25) at 10am sharp. For all gigs apart from Newcastle, you’ll be able to buy on Ticketmaster here.
For the Newcastle show, there’s a slightly different process for buying tickets. Fender was born and raised in North Shields, so demand is expected to be exceptionally high for his homecoming gig. As such, you’ll need to have already registered as living in a northeastern postcode – if successful, you’ll receive a ticket purchase link by email by Wednesday October 23. Find out more here.
One presale – for fans who preordered Sam Fender’s upcoming third studio album – went live on Tuesday (October 22). If you hadn’t ordered the album, you’re now too late for this particular presale.
More presales went live for individual venues on Wednesday (October 23). This was for individual venues – Co-op members, for example, got early access at Manchester’s Co-op Live, and O2 Priority members received early access at London’s O2 Arena. Check individual venue websites for more details.
Here are the UK dates confirmed so far for Sam Fender’s December tour:
Fender is a firm favourite for Glastonbury next year, with bookies reckoning he’s 7/4 to headline. He’s apparently the third most-likely artist to headline, after Olivia Rodrigo and Fred Again, and just as likely as Harry Styles.
