A lot of interesting bits of real estate have gone up for sale recently. We’ve seen Britain’s loneliest home’, its ‘most sustainable property’ and this super-super-skinny house in Bristol. None of the above, however, can beat the weirdness of this massive limestone cliff in the heart of the Yorkshire Dales National Park.

The 18.76 acres of land that make up Kilnsey Crag – one of the ‘Big Three’ limestone crags – have just hit the market. Standing 170 feet high, and formed by the force of The Wharfedale Glacier thousands of years ago, the cliff is popular tourist attraction thanks to its red-listed flora and fauna. In fact, its grass, reeds and scree have contributed to it being recognised as a site of special scientific interest, and it’s also known in the rock-climbing community as being one of the most challenging climbs around.

The crag hosts the annual Kilnsey Agricultural Show and the British Open Fell Running Association fell race (yes, that is really a thing). Competitors from across the country are challenged to take on the ‘chimney’, a steep crevice of rock in the face of the crag. Sound good? Want to attach your name to this mighty cliff? It’s up for sale on Savills with a guide price of £150,000.

ICYMI: This train is hosting a drag and comedy show ahead of the Edinburgh Fringe.

Plus: A massive £365 million music arena will open in Manchester next year.
