Taylor Swift fans, grab your wallets: the singer-songwriter’s childhood home is up for sale. The property has hit the market with an asking price of just under $1 million. But for a superfan with a lot of cash, it could be the perfect home – it’s rumored that Tay wrote ‘Love Story’ and ‘Teardrops on My Guitar’ here.

The five-bedroom, four-bathroom property in Reading, Pennsylvania was rented by the Swift household for a couple of years. Inside, you’ll find an ornate entrance hall, a formal dining room with backyard views, a cosy den with a wood-burning fireplace and a massive kitchen.

Upstairs, the bedrooms are decorated with original crown molding, hardwood floors and a private deck area, which we reckon would make the perfect spot for writing heartbreaking songs about unrequited love. Plus, there’s a patio and a heated pool outside – ideal for hosting a T-Swift listening party.

The family might not have lived in the property for a while, but it’s currently home to another famous resident. TikTok star Sydney Redner resides here, and she’s made multiple videos about life in the house. Apparently, there’s an inscription reading ‘TAS’ in the cement outside, which she thinks was written by Taylor Alison Swift herself. But she does detail one downside to living at the spot: the legions of fans that congregate outside for a pic. Seems even the house has star power.
