If you missed it, Vancouver is getting its very own Time Out Market this spring. Fit for families, large groups and solo diners, the casual eatery will make its mark on the city as the first of its kind in Western Canada, with top-notch chefs and cuisines from across Vancouver all under one roof.

Back in November, we announced the first 6 chefs and restaurateurs on the lineup, offering a taster of what’s to come. Now, we’re ready to unveil the latest additions of local culinary talent coming on board.

You won’t be stuck for choice with these options: celebrated chef Vikram Vij, whose celebrity-loved institution Vij's has been dishing up some of the best Indian food since ‘94, is launching a new Indian concept, Peacock. Order up a panino or traditional Neapolitan pizza from Via Tevere, where the founders and brothers Dom and Frank Morra know good pizza–and even have a prestigious “Vera Pizza Napoletana” certification to prove it.

Grab top-tier Japanese fare from one of the best in the biz as the award-winning Chef Akira Kishimoto opens the second location of his beloved restaurant, Kishimoto. Newly opened Mexican taquería SANTO TACO is making waves with its elevated take on street food and on the comfort food front, Heritage Asian Eatery is bringing its modern Chinese BBQ to a new location.

For those with a sweet tooth, Mello is baking its beloved brioche donuts from scratch everyday alongside a selection of crowd-pleasing goodies. Wash it all down with some bubble tea from Boba Run, where the sweet, chewy, and customisable drink is served fresh daily.

What is Time Out Market?

Time Out Market is the world's first food and cultural market curated by local experts to bring the best of the city together under one roof. In 2014, a historic market building in Lisbon was turned into the first Time Out Market. Today, there are more than 10 Markets globally in cities including New York, Montreal, BostonDubai, Cape Town and Osaka, with more to come – the execution of each is distinctly local to give a true taste of the city it is in. The Vancouver location marks the second Time Out Market in Canada.
