  • Nice place, ok service, totally overpriced. We had crayfish salad which was 11gbp and was a few leaves and about 6 small pieces of fish bit of a joke really.

  • We had our Christmas lunch on 21st December 2010 at the Orange and we had a fantastic day there. The food was delicious and beautifully presented, wine and champagne were excellent and the service was great! Ican definately recommend this pleace for dinner or just drinks as well.

  • We went here recently on a Saturday afternoon - the food was great but the manager ruined it. We had one really great bottle of red and then another of the exact same type which was corked- instead of just accepting it and taking it back as any professional place would he argued with us. My friends didn't want to make a scene so we left it. We were then told repeartedly by him and the waiter that we needed to move downstairs to give up the table up for a bunch of non existent people (the upsairs was completely empty)- despite the fact we said we were goign to be leaving way before they needed us to. One reminder would have been enough. When we said we would move earlier to make them happy, were then told we couldn't move to one of the tables downstairs as that was reserved for 'dinners'- despite the fact we had just spent £400 on food+ wine. Shame this ruined what was otherwise a great meal.

  • All our staff had a fantastic time when we visited The Orange for our Summer party, the food was gorgeous and the service and surroundings equally so – a good time was had by all.
