After nearly two decades of serving East Village night crawlers with paper cones full of golden-fried goodness and more than 20 dipping sauces (hello, Vietnamese pineapple mayo), beloved French-fry nook Pommes Frites is moving to a larger location in Greenwich Village after being displaced by the Second Avenue gas explosion back in March.
Set to debut in fall 2015, the new, 800-square-foot digs will be at 128 MacDougal Street and will reportedly have room for 25 seats and possibly some booze, with owners applying for a beer and wine license. Cheers to that!
