Boosting his Boerum Hill domain, Mile End’s Noah Bernamoff is opening the Grand Army, an oyster bar at Hoyt and State Streets. Just a block from his Montreal-inspired deli, the corner spot will serve cocktails, craft beer and, of course, briny Northeast oysters. Joining Bernamoff are fellow Brooklyn brethren Julian Brizzi (Rucola) and barman Damon Boelte, who created the bar program at Prime Meats and will tend stick nightly at this forthcoming 18-seat bar.

The neighborhood hangout is aiming for a February opening and, though we’re waiting for exact menu details, we do know there won’t be any burgers, fries or wings on the docket—the trio is aiming for lighter options. Stay tuned for more. 336 State Street, Boerum Hill, Brooklyn (no phone yet)
