You know that boat you’ve always wanted to buy, but was limited by the space of your tiny New York apartment? Well, dust off your navy blazer and Sperrys and prepare to “ride like the wind.” ONE°15 Brooklyn Marina is officially open on the shore of Brooklyn Bridge Park.

The 8-acre, 28-million dollar marina will be able to house over 100 boats ranging in size from 16’ to 250’ in length, plenty of space for your weekend sailboat or Diddy-esque yacht. And despite its East River location making it susceptible to waves and wakes from boat traffic, ONE°15 Brooklyn Marina will offer the calmest marina on New York Harbor due to a state-of-the-art wave attenuation system.

ONE°15 Brooklyn Marina will waste no time making a name for itself playing host May 9 to the finish line of the Transat 2016, the oldest single-handed trans-ocean race in history.
