In case you haven't heard, the New York Stock Exchange suspended trading this morning around 11:30am because of an "internal technical issue." The unexpected (possibly Bane-related) shutdown may not be so great for our economy, but it's definitely awesome for the traders and stock brokers who work on Wall Street, who now basically have a free afternoon. Yeah, for Summer Wednesdays. If you work on Wall Street and are looking for something to do this afternoon, try hitting up one of these six bars. You may still end the day getting lucky, even without playing the market.

1. Dead Rabbit
A time-capsule bar that will have you feeling like Boss Tweed as you spend the afternoon not having to deal with your actual boss.

2. Ulysses Folk House
Unwind over 20-ounce pints of Bass and oysters at this enormous Irish tavern.

3. Vintry Wine & Whiskey
Sample the amazing selection at this small wine and whiskey bar with a 350-bottle reserve list. The largest number you'll be dealing with for the rest of the day.

4. The Growler
Throw back a jug of beer at this canine-themed tavern featuring over 20 American craft suds.

5. Clinton Hall
Grab a beer from one of the 20 rotating taps, featuring many hard-to-find brews, at this 4,000-square-foot Battery Park beer hall.

6. Pier A Harbor House
Forget technical glitches even exist, by snagging a table by the water and relaxing at this retrofitted Gilded Age bar.
