We have a couple of new stores opening on Friday, and you can only visit them for a limited time.

First up is Diesel. Nicola Formichetti, former Lady Gaga costumier turned Thierry Mugler designer, has a new gig as Diesel's artistic director—and he's coming to Brooklyn to celebrate. Formichetti selected borough to host the edgy brand's first ever pop-up (pictured above) in Williamsburg (where else?). The shop, opening on Friday and named "101" after its 101 Bedford Avenue address (although we suspect Diesel might be using the name as a way to try to trick snobby locals into shopping there), will showcase Formichetti's men's and women's debut collection. The clothes fuse Diesel's signature black leather with tie-dyed denim and graffitied parkas. It wouldn't be Williamsburg without hand-crafted goods, so the shop will also sell candles by Brooklyn Candle Studio as well as T-shirts customized by photographers Inez & Vinoodh. 101 Bedford Ave at North 12th St, Williamsburg, Brooklyn. Open through December 2014.

Con Artist Collective, the artist workspace and gallery on the Lower East Side, is hosting lingerie brand RELIQUE among other artisan labels for a pop-up happening this weekend only. Shop high waisted briefs and mesh bralettes from RELIQUE's fall 2014 collection, as well as pop-art beach towels and leather baseball caps from Out of Office NYC. Other offerings include a bounty of handmade trinkets like quirky ceramic mugs from Small Spells, porcelain cuffs from Arc, and splatter painted headscarves from Mansi Shah. Carrie Marie Piazza, Amy B, Spencer Gray, and Signe Yberg round out the other featured brands in the shop. 119 Ludlow St (646-504-2323). Opening party is Fri Aug 15 5–8pm; shop Sat–Sun 10am–6pm.
