Barbecue buffs can chow down on the best beef at Jimmy Carbone (Jimmy's No. 43) and Jake Schiffman’s (Food Network Test Kitchen) all-you-can-eat-and-drink competition, including Fletcher's Brooklyn BBQ smoked brisket with pickled chilis and Tchoup Shop’s brisket-boudin balls. In between feasting, try meaty Tito's Vodka cocktails, like the Amaro-beef martini dashed with steak sauce, a beef-broth Bloody Mary and bull shot (beef bouillon, celery salt). While participants can cast a vote for the people's choice award winner, a panel of judges— including Food Network culinary director Mory Thomas and Stephanie Pierson, author of The Brisket Book: A Love Story with Recipes—crown the king, who receives brisket bragging rights, Wüsthof knives and grilling gear to continue cooking the best ’cue.
