The annual Black Party is about much more than dancing. Every year, Black Party producers the Saint at Large serve up the extremely aptly named Strange Live Acts, which combine almost whimsical circuslike performances with hard-core S&M sex. (Many of the performers will be familiar to anyone who attends the International Escort Awards.) Past Strange Live Acts have included all manner of piercings, live mummification and murderous clowns. What does this year have in store? You'll have to go to find out, but the "mineshaft" theme on this year's Black Party poster should provide plenty of fodder for scary, sexy visuals that will boggle the minds of even the most cynical nightlife veterans.
