Top Chef honcho Tom Colicchio has partnered with Sisha Ortuzar (Gramercy Tavern) to open this New American restaurant. Ortuzar is in the kitchen, dispatching dishes like pork chops with an apple–brussels sprout hash, and scallops topped with hen-of-the-woods mushrooms and kale-pear chutney. The ace seats are near the floor-to-ceiling windows, which provide views of the East River (in warmer months, the patio also offers an impressive vista).

I came here for brunch on a Sunday. Although I have friends living in the neighborhood I had never really paid attention to this place. I was wrong. The restaurant is great.
As it was sunny and warm I sat outside with a view of the east river. I could barely hear the FDR which is literally right there. The place looks great inside and outside with a really upscale vibe and service.
The food offered for brunch is both tasty and creative. It is not THE best food I've ever had but it's way better than anything I've tried in NYC for that price and that level of fanciness. The ricotta pancakes were very good, the fried chicken and waffles also.
Definitely recommend it.
