Made you look!

Yes, the actual Tony Award nominations will be announced on Tuesday. But we just couldn’t wait. So here’s our annual trick—er, tradition: the TONY* (*Time Out New York) nominations! Below are the 2013 Tony Award nominees as we—Theater editor David Cote and associate Theater editor Adam Feldman—would choose them. Please note: These are not our predictions of who will be nominated, but rather, who and what we think should be nominated. (For example, the producers of Matilda submitted Bertie Carvel for Leading Actor in a Musical, when his role is obviously a supporting one. The TONY committee thus put him in Featured.) Enjoy! And, if you want to find discount tickets to a show, check out our handy offers page.

Please note: The actual 2013 Tony Award nominations and our reactions may be found here.
