A Night at Niblo's Garden
Niblo's Garden—New York’s premier 19th-century theater which staged the country’s first musical in 1866—is the inspiration for this Victorian-themed picnic and show featuring fire jugglers, trapeze artists, tightrope walkers and opera singers. The event takes place at the site of theater owner and operator William Niblo’s mausoleum; prizes will be awarded for best period attire and most authentic picnic (think pigeon pies and whiskey punch).
