Indulge in destructive therapy at the Axe Factor. Pull a mini axe and send it whirling down the lane, hoping it hits a bullseye with a satisfying ‘thwunk’ – you score points based on where you bury the axe on the target board. This raging new sport not only makes great target practice (which may come in handy if there’s ever a zombie apocalypse) but it’s also a great way to blow off some steam with friends.

With all materials available, all you have to do is bring a whole lot of curiousity, imagination and creativity. Plus, with fresh fruit juices to keep you going, can you really say no?

You’ve heard the saying: teamwork makes the dream work. Challenge yourself and your friends to the treetop obstacle course of Forest Adventure. Overcome the Grand Course ($50/person) together where there are 44 wobbly crossings and three breath-taking zip lines across the water. Safety first, prepare to be strapped on with a harness and briefed on using your equipment and how to move on the course. But don't worry, once you're on the course, you're free to swing like Tarzan. If you need a bit of help, there are instructors on the ground.

Or you can hold on tight to your buddy – that’s what friends are for, right?

If your sob story consists of binge-watching rom-coms and stuffing your tear-stained face with ice cream, stop doing that and start exploring a range of series and films on Apple TV+. Grab some popcorn and laugh out loud at the musical comedy series Schmigadoon!, or catch Swan Song, a thought-provoking film about love and life. Either way, you'll bd spoilt for choice when it comes to movies in Apple TV+.

  • Raffles Place

This whimsical playground in Clarke Quay transforms the traditional putt into a multi-sensory labyrinth of unique holes. Take a swing at the different mini golf courses that pay homage to a range of pop culture references – think Game of Thrones, The Simpsons, and Pac-Man. The more you hole the putt, the more likely you'll discover a model of Marina bay Sands being attacked by Godzilla too. After a competitive (or not) game with your fellow mini-golfers, swing by the resto for a menu of food and drinks that are as colourful as the place itself.

What better way to get to know the city than on-foot with your ride or die? Strap on some sturdy walking shoes and uncover Singapore's rich heritage and stories via these heritage trails or museums. Go on an art trail and peep at some colourful murals, street art and sculptures that are spotted around the city. Explore the great outdoors with these nature trails – don't forget to slap on some sunscreen and grab a bottle of water!

  • Sentosa

Experience the waters of Singapore a whole new way with kayak fishing. No matter your skill level, look forward to a whale of a time with Kayak Fishing Fever, who'll take you out to a variety of unique fishing locations to hook up some stunning tropical fish.

Go on the mangrove fishing tour, where you'll get up close with lizards, birds and other animals that live in the habitat, and also try your hand at fishing for catfish, barramundi and mangrove snappers. Or go fishing in one of the world's busiest straits – and with Singapore's city skyline as a backdrop, you'll fish sunken wrecks and natural sea structures for parrot, grouper and snapper. If you've got the skill and stamina, sign up for the Island Hopper trip, where you'll comb the reefs around Sentosa and the Southern Islands in search of snappers, groupers and even pelagic species.

Strap up and get ready for a fun off-road adventure at Mud Krank - Singapore’s first and only ATV trail riding facility for families. Channel your inner Mad Max and angst on the ATV and ride the 4x4s through the muddy obstacle courses. While kids have to stick to the circuits within the arena, adults can choose to go on or off-track around Kranji Gallop, which has a much bumpier trail that will put your riding skills to the test. Also, remember to wear shoes and covered clothes to protect yourself from the dirt and prolonged exposure to the sun.
