Time Out Market Dubai welcomes 21grams, boosting the home-grown line-up to 18 concepts

Time Out Market Dubai, the city’s only editorially curated food and cultural market, has welcomed a new concept, ​​21grams Balkan Bakery & Deli, boosting its line-up to 18 Dubai-born brands. The award-winning, vibrant bistro opens at the Market.

Established in 2018 by Serbian native and restaurateur Stasha Toncev, 21grams is known in Dubai as the go-to destination for savoury and sweet Balkan burek phyllo pies, and for a compelling all-day breakfast offering.

​​21grams Balkan Bakery & Deli at Time Out Market Dubai will offer fresh, hand-crafted traditional Balkan dishes and baked goods. Renowned for its innovative spins on classic family recipes, creative flair and eye-catching presentationnot to mention some of Dubai’s best breakfasts21grams is set to become a vibrant addition to the Market and a place where the good things in life are celebrated every day.

The menu, with head chef Urosh Mitrashinovic at the helm, will showcase 21grams’ signature all-day breakfast dishes including a Balkan breakfast and Komplet egg, three different phyllo pie options goat’s cheese, beef bacon and honey, spinach, and pulled beef alongside deli small plates such as ajvar, urnebes, and hummus of the day. In addition to serving up a selection of salads, including Greek salad, fasolia salad and farmer’s salad, 21grams will also introduce a brand-new cold cuts platter. 21grams Balkan Bakery & Deli’s arrival at Time Out Market Dubai also represents the first time diners will be able to enjoy the restaurant’s cuisine paired with a glass or two of Dubai’s best-value beverages.

  • Diners can enjoy the fun and exciting atmosphere from 12pm-12am every day, and until 1am on Thursday and Friday to celebrate the weekend. 
  • Weekend Breakfast runs every Friday and Saturday from 10am – 1pm.
  • “Time Out Stage Presents” sees local bands and musicians perform every Tuesday from 7pm to 10pm, and a resident DJ every Thursday from 8-11pm.
  • The Editor’s Table is an exclusive eight-seater private booth set behind the Market’s Fountain Bar that is bookable for lunch or dinner.
