Time Out, the global media and leisure brand that helps people explore and experience the best of the city, announces that Will Gleason has been promoted to Editor, Time Out New York.
In this role, Gleason will be central to further evolving Time Out New York’s curated content, highly engaged audience and unique voice across all digital, print and social media channels; the editorial team is also key to the curation of the best of the city showcased at Time Out Market New York, the company’s food and cultural market that opened in May in Dumbo, located on the East River between the Brooklyn Bridge and the Manhattan Bridge.
Will brings great editorial experience and leadership to the team. He joined Time Out New York in 2014 and most recently was Deputy Features Editor, creating and editing content across print and digital channels. In addition to overseeing features, Will also managed Time Out New York’s daily identity across digital news posts, newsletters and social media. Previously, he was Time Out New York’s Staff Writer and Content Editor, and held a variety of editorial positions at Viacom, New York Post and Next Magazine.
In addition to Will’s new role, Time Out also promoted Danielle Valente as Editor, Time Out New York Kids - the brand’s digital and quarterly print publication much-loved by parents looking for great things to do in the city.
