Mata Hari

Named after the exotic but tricksy Dutch courtesan, it’s appropriate that this new bar, restaurant and lounge has brought a touch of comfort and class to the Red Light District. Sympathetic lighting, retro furniture and an open kitchen serving dishes such as ‘chocolate salami with forget-me-not liqueur’ make the seduction complete.

Great restaurant - not too pricey (for the quality of the food), lovely looking out over the canal. Great service.

The only non seedy joint in the red light! Good (put pricey) food and great cocktails at the bar,
