It's the weekend! You've worked hard to get to this point, so you deserve to play hard, too. We've curated our favorite events happening around Austin for the next few days, from pop-ups to festivals to grand openings—all you have to do is round up your crew. Have a great weekend, y'all!

Fri 27

Levitation Festival
It's been a minute, Levitation. After getting rained out in 2016, the beloved psych fest returns to Austin for four days of guitar shredding, trip-inducing shows that will take place throughout the Red River District. It's a festival every music lover needs to experience, and one that materializes in some of Austin's best live music venues. Through Sunday at various times

Austin Food + Wine Festival
You know that bucket list, the one with all the amazing Austin restaurants you want to try? We have a shortcut, or at least a teaser: Austin Food + Wine Festival. Spend the day at Auditorium Shores hopping from table to table at the Grand Taste, stop by demo booths to learn techniques from your favorite chefs, hit up the Fire Pit for excellent meat grilled over an open flame, try taco after taco at the Rock Your Taco event, and enjoy more activities taking place throughout Austin's biggest food festival. Through Sunday at various times

Red Poppy Festival
Visit the Red Poppy Capitol of Texas during Georgetown’s annual Red Poppy Festival, when live music, a parade, a car show, art, food and a 5k run fills the area around the historic town square. Be sure to catch Joe Nichols headline on Saturday night. Through Sunday at various times

Mobley at Waterloo
If you're not taking part in Levitation this weekend but still want to scratch your music itch, head to Waterloo Records for one of Austin's homegrown stars, Mobley. There's free beer from Shiner and free tunes care of the local musician, who calls his new release, Fresh Lies, Vol. 1, "post-genre pop." TGIF. Fri at 5pm

Sat 28

Into the Woods Home Tour
Permission granted to snoop in several post-war cottages, mid-century ranch homes and more at this tour of houses in three East Austin neighborhoods—Cherrywood, Delwood and Wilshire Wood. You can find the tour headquarters at the Browning Hangar by Mueller Lake Park (just look for the food trucks). Sat at 10am

Eeyore's Birthday Party
No, this isn’t a children’s shindig. Eeyore’s Birthday Party is an annual Austin tradition that began in 1963, and has since become a quirky, day-long bash at Pease Park with colorful costumes, food, drink, entertainment and, yes, plenty of drum circles. Sat at 11am

Austin Bookstore Crawl
How about spending your Saturday hopping between some of Austin's best independent bookstores? Visit three or more participating businesses (BookPeople, Malvern Books and South Congress Books among them) to enter a drawing for a grand prize, or complete scavenger hunts organized by each store. Sat at various times

Sun 29

Tony Bennett
The 19-time Grammy Award winner famous for such tunes as "I Left My Heart in San Francisco" will have you humming for weeks after his show at ACL Live. And this time, he's touring with his daughter, Antonia Bennett, so expect some of those Gaga-esque duets. Sun at 8pm
