We're in the final few days before SXSW really ramps up, but there's no rest for the weary—activities are still going on all over the city leading up to the fest. Stop by Waterloo Records for an in-store performance by Wild Child at 5pm, in celebration of their new album, Expectations. There will be free Shiner Bock, so you've got happy hour taken care of.

Have you checked out Better Half yet? You'd be wise to get to it today before the crowds really start kicking in. The new all-day café in Clarksville serves breakfast, lunch, dinner, coffee, cocktails, beer—you name it, all in a relaxed, casual setting with reasonable prices. Get on it, friends.

The arguments are endless among Oasis diehards over which of the English rock band’s founding brothers, Noel and Liam Gallagher, is the better musician, so decide for yourself when the former brings his not-quite-solo act, High Flying Birds, back to Austin tonight at 8pm. As all the band’s touring members (save for one) once played in Oasis, you’ll hear plenty from that era, plus a handful spanning their three records, including November 2017’s Who Built the Moon? Tickets are still available here.
