Bon Iver released one of the most anticipated albums of summer 2019: 'i,i' is the fourth album of Justin Vernon's most celebrated project, which exploded onto the independent music scene more than a decade ago with the magnificent 'For Emma, Forever Ago' (2007). That debut was an album that broke moulds with the use of echo and voice treatment, but Vernon no longer records alone in a cabin isolated from the world as he did then. His sound has become sophisticated over time, on albums like 'Bon Iver, Bon Iver' (2011) and '22, A Million' (2016). Although his work with vocal expression – with all kinds of filters and electronic effects – remains paramount in his music, Bon Iver has increasingly become a live band, which is reflected more than ever in the sound of 'i,i'.

Sir Elton John, one of the most acclaimed artists in all of pop history, announced he was retiring from performing live more than a year ago. We weren't sure if it was really true because he's still going strong and could carry on for years to come if he wanted to. But just in case he means business, pay attention to this: John's 'Farewell Yellow Brick Road' tour includes two consecutive dates in Barcelona's Palau Sant Jordi. From his debut in 1969, John has sold millions of albums, and you won't want to miss the chance to hear him performing huge hits that have thrived over 50 years of the artist's career, including 'Rocket Man', 'Tiny Dancer', 'Your Song', 'Don't Go Breaking My Heart', and 'Candle in the Wind', which has sold 33 million copies around the world, second of all time only to Bing Crosby's 'White Christmas'. John has played more than 4,000 concerts in over 80 countries, don't miss out on some of his final performances.

K-pop has been establishing its global power among the masses for years, and boy bands such as BTS, the first Korean group to have achieved a number one album in the United States, have done more than their share to help that along. Now it's girl group Blackpink's turn to show off their power over pop fans in Barcelona, kicking off with a lot of confidence in the massive Palau Sant Jordi as part of their first European tour. The female foursome, who have hundreds of millions of listeners on streaming platforms, present their first LP, 'Blackpink in Your Area' (2018), an infallible mix of pop and hip hop that alternates between Korean and English.
