Alanis Morissette's ninth studio album, 'Such Pretty Forks in the Road', is set to be released May 2020, though her third LP, 'Jagged Little Pill' (1995), which came out with she was just 21 years old, is the one we'll never forget. And how could we? It was in the American Billboard top 20 for more than a year, and sold over 33 million copies. The globally successful record featured the massive hits 'You Oughta Know', 'All I Really Want', 'Hand in My Pocket', 'Ironic', 'You Learn', and 'Head Over Feet', earned Morissette five Grammys and launched the artist and her mix of post-grunge and pop rock to international fame.
Now Morissette is back in Barcelona, at the Palau Sant Jordi, a dozen years after her last visit, to celebrate 25 years since the release of 'Jagged Little Pill', which has even been made into a musical that debuted on Broadway in late 2019. Opening for her is Liz Phair, another big indie star of the 1990s, whose debut album, 'Exile in Guyville' was released to critical acclaim in 1993.
