Barcelona dresses up to celebrate Santa Eulàlia as well as Llum BCN, and one of the most anticipated events that goes along with both is the series of Open Doors days. From Friday, February 8 to Tuesday the 12th (Santa Eulàlia) and from Friday the 15th to Sunday the 17th (Llum BCN), you'll find loads of museums and other spaces around the city open to the public for free. With all these dates and times available, there's no way you can miss out!
Santa Eulàlia
Ajuntament de Barcelona. Sat 9, 10am-8pm. Spaces are limited. You'll be able to visit some of the most emblematic areas of the City Hall building, like the Saló de Cròniques, Saló de Cent, Saló de la Ciutat, Galeria Gòtica, and the Escala d'Honor and Mirador Maria Aurèlia Capmany, on the ninth floor of the Edifici Novíssim. The tour is given (in Catalan) by actors who re-create a series of historical figures associated with some of these areas in the building. If you've got kids with you, head to the patio for a puppet show and workshop.
