My Father & Other Superheroes

This one-man show follows Nick - a young guy on a turbulent journey tackling fatherhood, loss, heroes and hope. The piece which fuses physical theatre and contemporary spoken word, explores his feelings towards being a youth smuggled from his home in Uganda, the on-screen superheroes that peppered his early years and ultimately replaced his own rarely seen father, the true meaning of being a dad, and the realisation that heroes can really just be ordinary humans.
