Game Over

Transient-Art take over the museum for three months with a brand new body of work, plus a special event to coincide with the Museums at Night festival. Each of the artists and designers from the West Midlands based group visited the museum, took part in a guided tour and then returned to the studio to create a piece of work inspired by what they had seen. The work reflects the themes explored within the museum, and juxtaposes history with contemporary examination. For the late night event (May 16), a selection of artists will create additional work to be interspersed amongst the exhibits. A fashion show will also take place, showcasing work from students at the Birmingham Metropolitan College. Tickets for this event cost £3 and will be available on the night.
