Watch the moonrise from the outdoor annexe at the Fishmonger's dine-in and takeaway café, housed in a century-old renovated Queenslander. It's one of owner Sue Meadowcroft's favourite things to do. Expect a step up from everyday fish and chips here. While the menu offers a lovely Barra (farmed in ocean pens in the East Timor Sea) with side of chips, you'll also find spicy Thai octopus, King snapper with coconut, lime and chilli, or Moroccan-style barra spiced with cinnamon and cumin. Your fish can be grilled, panko crumbed or battered in a light, French beer batter and there’s a rice and chickpea batter for the GF crowd.
