Time Out says

Brisbane, prepare to light it up. Globally acclaimed light installation Lightscape is coming to town for Brisbane Festival 2024, starting on August 29. The stunning nighttime spectacle will combine light, colour and sound for a new way to look at the city’s botanic garden.

Every night from 5.45pm, you can meander along the 1.8-kilometre trail that weaves through the gardens, revealing enchanting glowing tree canopies and dazzling illuminated tunnels. The fields will be aglow with hundreds of tiny flames, while towering flower will radiate with an otherworldly glow.

After two majorly successful years at the Vivid Festival in Sydney’s Royal Botanic Gardens and sell-out stints in London, New York and Chicago, the show is spreading the love by stopping off in Brisbane, Melbourne and Adelaide. Only this time, there will be brand new installations joining some of the old favourites, designed by both local and international artists.

Lightscape kicks off on August 29 and will run until October 12. You can snap up tickets before the show sells out at the link here, which range from $20-$40. Sessions run every 15 minutes from 5.45pm, or you can purchase a nifty pass to enter at whatever time you’d like.
