Site Singing

An intriguing exhibition documenting a project in progress.

Sound artist Ellen Southern has been busy visiting heritage sites and, at each, experimenting with her own voice and the acoustics of the space. Using her own voice and the site-specific acoustics to 'give voice' to the spaces, she's created sound sketches to encourage others to engage with these lesserknown English heritage sites.

This exhibition features the soundworks, along with drawings and photographs from the field trips.
