Time Out says

Connoisseurs of the so-bad-it's-good, Bristol Bad Film Club return for June with yet another corker.

'The ultimate killing machine. Part man. Part metal...'

Yep, a post-apocalyptic world where war is outlawed and instead the world's superpowers must use matches between huge robots called Robot Jox. That have giant phallic chainsaws between their legs.

Filmed in 1987, released in 1990, this sci-fi flick actually looks like it's straight outta the 70s, with stop motion animation for those all important fight scenes, and an undeniable but great level of 'naffness' that you can only appreciate with Bristol Bad Film Club.
