Along with a light lab of workshops, exploring the ideas behind the physics of light and how they can be used in dance and the arts, there will also be an exhibition featuring artists and scientists from academia showing off their best light-inspired work.
The celebration culminates in a show from several dance companies performing dances inspired by the physics of light.
