Admission includes unlimited wine from 6pm to 8pm. After that, the party continues with music and dancing until 2am.
Bardo is a Mendoza-based destination set among vineyards, with incredible views of the Andes, that combines food, wine, music, and entertainment. Its location is around 20 minutes from Mendoza City and features a 100-seat restaurant and a sunset and dancing area with a capacity of around 1,000 people.
An afternoon of wine, music, and fire by the river
Bardo is bringing Buenos Aires a sunset experience featuring free-flowing wine, one of its main distinguishing features. Wine is at the heart of the experience, alongside music, friends, and an afternoon that begins at sunset and eventually turns into a party.
The experience brings together wine, music, and fire, which has always been a central part of the Mendoza winery’s offering. In Buenos Aires, that atmosphere moves to the riverfront for an afternoon that begins at sunset and continues into the night.
At BARDO, wine takes center stage, but the experience is meant to go far beyond a glass of wine. That’s why the event includes unlimited wine from 6pm to 8pm, accompanying the sunset, music, and social atmosphere from the very beginning.
What the first edition was like and what Bardo has planned for its second
The first edition in Buenos Aires was a success and confirmed the interest in experiencing the Mendoza winery’s concept outside its usual setting, among vineyards and mountains. For this second edition, the idea is to recreate that atmosphere for a few hours: disconnect from the city and feel a little bit like you’re in Mendoza.
“Mendoza is one of the country’s main tourist destinations, and Bardo has already become a must-visit for groups of friends looking to leave behind their daily routines, responsibilities, and worries for a while, disconnect, and enjoy themselves,” the Bardo team says. “What we want is to convey what people experience there, but bring it closer so that more people can understand what Bardo is all about,” they add.
Food, drinks, and partying: what is Bardo?
Bardo is based in Luján de Cuyo, Mendoza, and brings together food, wine, music, and scenery in one place. The full experience begins around the table and continues through sunset and onto the dance floor, with areas to relax and DJs accompanying the experience.
Fire plays a central role in the kitchen, with grilled and spit-roasted meats, as well as vegetarian options. The multi-course menu was designed by chef Gastón Pérez, from Mendoza restaurant Auténtico.
The food is complemented by Bardo’s own wines, including Rosé, Malbec, Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, and Pinot Noir. On weekends, DJs accompany the day from midday into the evening, as the space transitions from lunch to sunset and then into dancing.
Everything is summed up in one phrase: “Comer, Beber y Joder” (“Eat, Drink and Have Fun”). The concept focuses on socializing, wine, and music, with the vineyards and the Andes Mountains as part of the scenery. In Buenos Aires, that spirit takes on a sunset format, this time with the river as its backdrop.
