1. Desde el Jardín

Being There, based on the novel by Jerzy Kosinski, marks Guillermo Francella’s highly anticipated return to Corrientes Avenue. The play follows Chance Gardiner, a naïve man who, after living in isolation his entire life, is suddenly thrust into a society that mistakes his simplicity for wisdom. Through a series of misunderstandings, he becomes an influential figure within high society and politics. 2. Escenas de la vida conyugal

An absolute highlight of the Buenos Aires theater scene. 4. Lo que se pierde se tiene para siempre

A mother gets lost in a place without a name. In his carpentry workshop, the father seems to have found in wood his only form of connection. Between their homes—just eight blocks apart—the daughter acts as a bridge: carrying food, photos, furniture, and envelopes of money, trying to hold together what is falling apart. Her task is titanic: to piece back together the fragments of a life split in two.

Stephen Sondheim’s masterpiece arrives with a dream team of Argentine musical theater, led by Fer Dente and Alejandra Radano. 7. El chat de mamis

9. La cena de los tontos

A group of friends hosts weekly dinners to mock the “dumbest” guest of the night. But when Pablo Barrantes brings Francisco Pignon—naive, endearing, and completely unpredictable—the plan falls apart, and the evening turns into a cascade of absurd situations. 10. Rocky

11. Las Hijas
