The mountains of Mendoza don’t just offer stunning scenery and postcard-perfect sunsets—they will now also host a festival that promises to mark a before and after in the Argentine music scene. On October 18, the first edition of the Montaña Festival will take place, a gathering that brings together music, gastronomy, wine, and outdoor culture, with the Andes as a breathtaking backdrop.
As the date approaches, excitement is growing. The festival’s goal is for both locals and tourists to enjoy a day that blends musical genres, uniting audiences and generations in a single experience. There will be performances by local, national, and international artists, a wine fair, and even a food court—perfect for taking a break between shows.
“Montaña” aims to establish itself as a national music festival, a space where diversity coexists and emotions make the audience vibrate. If you’re a concert lover, October offers an unmissable plan in Mendoza. Tickets are available at Tuentrada.com.

Montaña Festival: Mendoza’s Big Music Festival
The Montaña Festival seeks to reflect Mendoza’s identity, its landscapes, and its people, with an open approach to music and artists from Argentina and abroad. The meeting point will be the Multiespacio Cultural Luján de Cuyo (MCLC, Calle Quintana & Acceso Sur, Luján de Cuyo) from 4:30 PM, in an open-air format that blends music, culture, and nature.
“‘Montaña’ is projected as a major festival in the Cuyo region, with its own personality and characteristics that make it special. We’re very happy with this inaugural edition, which can be enjoyed all day long—my recommendation is to arrive early,” shares show producer José Palazzo. Mendoza now has the potential to achieve a new cultural milestone, becoming a regional reference and joining the national festival calendar in the heart of spring.

Montaña Festival: Who’s Playing
This new musical venture in Mendoza presents a lineup of ten artists and bands spanning different musical universes—from emerging talents to established acts—all sharing the same energy and desire to give the audience the best musical experience.

Uruguayans No Te Va Gustar will be one of the headliners, with their Rio de la Plata rock that has become part of the DNA of several generations. Trueno will also take the stage with the power of his rap and trap beats, and Dillom, the ‘enfant terrible’ of the national scene, will arrive to break boundaries.
Also on the lineup: La Plata’s Cruzando el Charco, the electronic rock duo Peces Raros, Zoe Gotusso’s pop sensitivity, and the festive energy of El Kuelgue. From Chile, Niños del Cerro adds an indie freshness to the day.
“That’s the challenge: mixing genres to cover a wide range of possibilities. Today’s music is very diverse and of high quality,” notes Palazzo, producer of the event with En Vivo Producciones, in collaboration with Produce Crack and Popart Música.
Of course, the Mendoza music scene will have its place on stage; La Blunty will ignite the afternoon with urban sounds, and Magnolia Monti will offer an intimate journey blending soul, R&B, bolero, and Argentine folk roots. “Mendoza is a great breeding ground for contemporary Argentine music,” assures the creator of Cosquín Rock.
The countdown is on. On Saturday, October 18, the Multiespacio Cultural Luján de Cuyo will open its doors to a festival that inaugurates a new way of experiencing music in the mountains. Don’t miss this experience—tickets can be purchased online.
