Time Out took the Next to Normal experience to the next level

On Monday at 8 p.m., we treated ourselves to something truly special: an exclusive performance of Next to Normal Immersive at the CAI (Centro Audiovisual Inmersivo), organized especially for Time Out guests. Tastemakers, influencers, artists, clients, and opinion leaders literally immersed themselves in this theatrical experience that’s redefining the city’s theater scene. Among the guests, names like Julieta Nair Calvo, Natalie Pérez, Tomás Rottemberg, and Topa enjoyed a night where theater, technology, and emotion merged without barriers.

Based on the Tony Award–winning musical that forever changed the way we talk about mental health, Next to Normal Immersive arrives in Buenos Aires with a format that blurs the line between actors and audience. Created by Brian Yorkey and Tom Kitt, this version bears the signature of Argentine creative Pablo del Campo and stars none other than Alice Ripley and J. Robert Spencer — the original Broadway leads (read our full interview with them).
