From 1 August 2025, a new codeshare agreement between Turkish Airlines and South Africa’s Airlink will allow for seamless connections between Istanbul and a wide range of Southern African destinations, all on a single ticket.

The deal lets Turkish Airlines place its “TK” code on Airlink’s domestic and regional flights, opening up smoother links between Cape Town, Johannesburg and over 65 destinations across Southern Africa.

Turkish Airlines currently operates to over 350 destinations across 131 countries.

Whether you're off to Joburg, Windhoek or Europe via Türkiye, expect fewer booking hassles and better travel flow.

Both airlines say the partnership will boost tourism and make global and regional travel more accessible for locals and international visitors alike.
