Table Mountain Aerial Cableway

Riding the cable car up Cape Town's Table Mountain is just one of the many experiences offered by the Table Mountain Aerial Cableway.

What to expect during your visit:

Visitors can enjoy retail therapy at any of the four on-site shops. The Cableway regularly hosts outdoor events, including conferences, celebrations and other large gatherings. For those looking to dine with a view, a range of dining experiences is also available.

Price:

• Pensioners: R130 (return), R70 (one way)

• Students: R280 (return), R170 (one way)

All day:

• Adults: R490 (return), R280 (one way)

• Children aged 4 to 17: R245 (return), R150 (one way)

Afternoon:

• Adults: R420 (return), R280 (one way)

• Children aged 4 to 17: R210 (return), R150 (one way)

Time:

First cable car goes up at 8:30 am and the last at 5 pm.

Good to know:

Table Mountain Cableway will be closed for annual maintenance from 28 July to 3 August 2025.
