EXPO Chicago postponed its annual gathering at Navy Pier, but with large-scale gatherings still restricted the event is moving into the virtual space. EXPO CHGO will feature five day of public panels, performances, film screenings and a digital exposition that displays work curated by more than 80 international galleries.
Highlights of the programing schedule include solo performances by Wilco frontman Jeff Tweedy as well as his band members Glenn Kotche and Nels Cline; a conversation with artist and philanthropist Theaster Gates; the premiere of a film about the work of artist Jill Magid; and panel during which local artists will discuss activating spaces that are currently empty due to the pandemic.
Ticketing information and a complete schedule of programming will be available via the EXPO CHGO website on March 22.
