Four nights at Chicago Theatre! How in the world did this Brooklyn-via-Ohio band become one of the biggest rock acts under the sun? It's a minor mystery, but melancholy singer Matt Berninger’s hauntingly beautiful voice and lyrics are undoubtedly part of the answer. We're curious to see how the group's brooding songs and debauched elegance go down when they promote their recent release Trouble Will Find Me. Boyfriend-girlfriend (and another) trio Daughter makes brooding, experimental folk, layering Elena Tonra's Feist-like voice over Igor Haefeli's ghostly soundscapes. The Londoners' debut, If You Leave, was released in 2013 by dream-pop stalwart 4AD.
