Uptown’s favorite family-run ice-cream parlor, Purple Cow, may have relocated to Wicker Park, but it still features the same dessert crêpes, waffles and housemade caramel and cheese popcorn that earned it good buzz back in its humble beginnings. Customers new and old now get their 20 flavors of ice cream (produced with local dairy, natch) in the old-fashioned interior or at one of the tables lining the wide Division sidewalk.
