Made in Chicago
It’s always nice to support local talent, and the City of Chicago’s Apparel Industry Board Inc. makes it easy thanks to its Made in Chicago shop. The store, which started as a pop-up for holiday shopping last fall but became a permanent presence downtown this summer, features about 15 locally made collections, including jewelry, women’s clothing and streetwear. Shop now, because you never know which designer will become the next big thing. 44 E Grand Ave (312-836-1041, aibi.com).—Kevin Aeh
