This Highland Park gift shop doesn't just wait until the holidays to get into the giving spirit, with items in stock holding a greater significance. And don’t be fooled by the name, although caring mostly personal care items, it stocks more than just soap: Take the Gecko Trading purses made from recycled rice bags ($18-$36) that provide income for Cambodian women with disabilities, or the Blommin’ cards containing seeds that can be planted underground to help replenish the earth ($3). Even the décor gives back with a chandelier made of salvaged bottles, shelving from old swing set ladders and a mural painted by local special education students.
