The Pirates of Penzance

The Hypocrites' exceedingly silly, promenade-style take on Gilbert and Sullivan's operetta, in which the actors double as orchestra and sunglasses and beach balls abound, has become an un-holiday holiday-season family favorite since its debut in 2010. It's joined in repertory by The Mikado, back for a third year, and newcomer H.M.S. Pinafore.
