The event creator says
Come join us in solidarity and celebration for International Day of Transgender Visibility! International Transgender Day of Visibility was created in 2009 by Michigan transgender activist Rachel Crandall. It was created as a reaction to the lack of LGBTQ+ holidays celebrating transgender people and that the only well known holiday was the Transgender Day of Remembrance.

The event will feature speakers from the local transgender community and allies. ASL and Spanish interpretation will also be provided.

Please be encouraged to make signs! Signs that show pride and love in and for the transgender community (examples; visibility matters, trans lives matters, solidarity, etc..) Let's make a powerful visual statement to the strength of the solidarity in the transgender community, locally and abroad!

Stay tuned to this event page for more updates and information.
