Maura Rogers and The Bellows
Rock | Cleveland OH

Cleveland's Maura Rogers and the Bellows bring a refreshing twist to the alt folk genre. Influenced by artists ranging from Bruce Springsteen to PJ Harvey, Maura's honest lyrics overcome personal loss and proclaim perseverance. From soul-felt ballads to sultry rock and roll, the dynamic musicianship of the Bellows provides listeners with a genuine, moving experience. The accordion, electric guitar, bass, and drums of the Bellows set the mood for Maura's powerful voice and storytelling. The result is a familiar, yet unique sound that moves both the listener's heart and feet.

After performing as a solo artist for many years, Maura released her debut album, “Get Up Girl” in 2010 and was able to share her music in live performances from New York to California. After returning to Cleveland, a band was put together that has evolved into The Bellows. The first album with the full band, "A Good Heart Will Break," was released in 2012. The current Bellows lineup includes Jeff Babinski, Istvan Medgyesi, Meredith Pangrace, and Brent Stowe. The second album, "In Light" will be released this spring and the band will be playing a number of shows to support it and share the new material. Maura Rogers and the Bellows have been honored to share the stage with artists including Shovels and Rope, Kelly Hogan, Sean Rowe, and Erin McKeown and are looking forward to playing with new bands and visiting new venues.
