Pour & Play: "An Octoroon" says
Get an early start on the weekend at Dobama Theatre with POUR & PLAY, a pre-show gathering for young professionals.
Hit the theater at 6:30 p.m. on the second Thursday of each show’s run and enjoy a couple FREE drinks (pour), snacks, and good times with old and new friends before curtain (play).

Join us Thursday, October 27, for the POUR & PLAY night for AN OCTOROON by Branden Jacobs-Jenkins.

Just buy a ticket for the show then come early for the preshow fun!

The top 5 reasons you don’t want to miss POUR, PLATE, PLAY:
1.You need more fun in your life on Thursdays.
2.You need more culture – but not stuffy, textbook culture. Dobama plays are contemporary scripts that take on issues like becoming an adult, love and sex, race, religion, and family dysfunction with poignancy and humor.
3.Who knows who you might meet while pre-show networking?
4.Cleveland Heights is amazing. And you know it.
5.There’s no way spending Thursday night in a bar, restaurant, or on your couch is going to be more engaging, unique, and memorable than seeing a CLE premiere play with friends!

BONUS reason – the whole pre-show party is FREE! (You still have to buy a ticket to see the show, but we’re a bargain compared to other Cleveland performance venues.)
Dobama staff and board will be on hand to answer questions and give you inside info on the theater and that night’s show over Great Lakes Brewery beer, wine, and appetizers from local restaurants.
