Ramen Night #2! says
Our second ramen night! We'll have pork tonkotsu broth with all the fixings (soft-boiled egg, pork charsiu, seaweed, mushrooms, etc.) and will do a limited number of vegetarian ramen bowls as well. Please specify if you'd like vegetarian so we have a rough count. Thanks and hope to see you guys there! $12 a bowl.

ETA 2.22.16

We've started getting comments/tweets/emails from people wondering exactly how this is going to work...which is a great question, because believe me, we panicked when we saw those numbers go up. We thought long and hard about logistics - prepay and guarantee a bowl? First come, first serve? We are the first to admit we're still figuring it out and thank you for bearing with us, so here's what you need to know and fingers crossed for a smooth event!

1. Ramen orders will be for pick-up only, no eating at the shop, as we have limited space and *gulp* what may be a lot of people. Sorry, we wish we had more room! But come back after and tell us how you liked it!

2. This event is now two days - Saturday 2-10pm and Sunday 2-9pm - come anytime. We are busiest in the evenings, for those of you who hate waiting and want to plan ahead.

3. I have a list of people who emailed, commented on facebook, tweeted, etc. with their orders as of 2/22/16. We took the total number of bowls ordered and will be making twice that amount. So if you didn't write your name down as of 2/22/16, it's ok, you can still pick up! But we are not necessarily saving a bowl for you, so please come earlier if you can. For those who did put their names down, if you haven't come by 6pm Sunday night, it'll be first-come, first serve (unless you let me know that you're for sure coming before end of Sunday).

4. There'll be a limited number of vegetarian bowls for those who ordered it - it is a mushroom-based stock.

5. We might run out and not everyone will get a bowl. Or, we could have a lot of no-shows and end up with a lot of leftover ramen! In any case, we are so thankful for all your interest and at the end of the day, all we want to do is put out some good food and meet good people. (If you really really really want ramen and don't want to run the risk of running out, I would recommend coming early on Saturday.)

ALSO! Homemade noodles totally didn't happen, but luckily our neighbors at Ohio City Pasta make a great ramen noodle! So that's where your noodles are from and they are great.
