Preservation Detroit says
Preservation Detroit has teamed up with Detroit Bikes! (the group, not the company) to offer bike tours in Detroit. Rides range from 14 to 24 miles, and can last 2-3 hours. For safety and liability reasons, we ask that you wear a helmet. We also suggest that you bring a spare tube, just in case!

Attendees do not need to RSVP or pre-register! Rides are free for members of Preservation Detroit or a $5 suggested donation. Days and times will vary and unless otherwise noted, leave from the Mackenzie House, located at 4735 Cass Avenue. Please arrive 15 minutes prior to the start of the ride. Paid and free street parking is available in the area of the Mack House, as well as a parking lot across the street that is usually free on Sundays.

Java Junket X - ride departure from Cafe Con Leche, please arrive by 8:30 – We will be visiting some of Detroit’s lesser and better known coffee stops and shops. Check out the surrounding historic neighborhoods along the way. Independent coffee shops have historically opened out of the need to foster community and activate vacant spaces within neighborhoods. You’ll see some great examples of smart adaptive reuse of existing structures. More info here:
