Claude Young

Electronic composer, videographer, sci-fi junkie, and world class DJ are but a few of the hats worn by Claude Young. This Detroit native who now resides in Glasgow, Scotland (UK) and Tokyo (Japan) was born the son of legendary American WJLB radio personality, station founding member and production master Claude Young Sr. Young's father, through his radio show in Detroit, was partly responsible for huge hits for such artists as Isaac Hayes, David Bowie, Quincy Jones, Elton John, Falco, Al Green, Kraftwerk, Jody Watley, Erik B & Rakim, Run DMC and many more, crossing a diverse musical landscape during the 70's & 80's. Young's editing & production skills in the studio were taught to him by his father and also through years of experimentation alone.

Rex Bravo

A true enthusiast, Rex delivers an original vinyl mix that transfers his enthusiasm for a good party onto the dance floor. With influences spanning generations of vinyl, and a respect for Detroit’s musical foundation, he pulls you into a familiar rhythm of sound. Fairly new to the Detroit scene, Rex has quickly earned the respect of fellow DJs, musicians and promoters.

He has left his mark as a promoter with his Endangered Species parties around town. We’ve often ended our night on the dance floor at City Club at one of Rex’s parties. He has also held down Residency at BAK DØR gracing the dance floor till the late hours of the morning with his love for techno.
